چکیده

We study finitely generated groups whose word problems are accepted by counter automata. We show that a group has word problem accepted by a blind n-counter automaton in the sense of Greibach if and only if it is virtually free abelian of rank n; this result, which answers a question of Gilman, is in a very precise sense an abelian analogue of the Muller-Schupp theorem. More generally, if G is a virtually abelian group then every group with word problem recognised by a Gautomaton is virtually abelian with growth class bounded above by the growth class of G. We consider also other types of counter automata.

Introducing New Structures for D-Type Latch and Flip-Flop in Quantum-Dot Cellular Automata Technology and its Use in Phase-Frequency Detector, Frequency Divider and Counter Circuits

Quantum-dot cellular automata (QCA) technology is an alternative to overcoming the constraints of CMOS technology. In this paper, a new structure for D-type latch is presented in QCA technology with set and reset terminals. The proposed structure, despite having the set and reset terminals, has only 35 quantum cells, a delay equal to half a cycle of clocks and an occupied area of 39204 nm2. T...

Cloud modeling of quasi - order groups on general fuzzy automata

In this paper, first a simplified version of a general fuzzy automaton with a fixed c is defined and then a subepisode of a simplified version of a general fuzzy automaton with a constant c is defined and explained connected and strong connected them, and finally, a model of quasi-order hypergroup on general fuzzy automaton with constant c is presented and the relationships between them are rev...

Design and Test of New Robust QCA Sequential Circuits

One of the several promising new technologies for computing at nano-scale is quantum-dot cellular automata (QCA). In this paper, new designs for different QCA sequential circuits are presented. Using an efficient QCA D flip-flop (DFF) architecture, a 5-bit counter, a novel single edge generator (SEG) and a divide-by-2 counter are implemented. Also, some types of oscillators, a new edge-t...

Model Checking Freeze LTL over One-Counter Automata

We study complexity issues related to the model-checking problem for LTL with registers (a.k.a. freeze LTL) over one-counter automata. We consider several classes of one-counter automata (mainly deterministic vs. nondeterministic) and several syntactic fragments (restriction on the number of registers and on the use of propositional variables for control locations). The logic has the ability to...

Quantum versus Deterministic Counter Automata

This paper focuses on quantum analogues of various models of counter automata, and almost completely proves the relation between the classes of languages recognizable by bounded error quantum ones and classical deterministic ones in every model of counter automata. It is proved that (i) there are languages that can be recognized by two-way quantum one-counter automata with bounded error, but ca...
